A Fair Point
I took Darcy to a baby shower for her babysitter's daughter on Monday night (the daughter is having the baby, not the babysitter). She had been hearing BA and I talking about this shower for weeks, so when the night rolled around she was pretty excited about going.
She was really good at the shower itself, but it started getting late so I decided to take her home. We had one last potty stop before heading out, so while she was "getting down to business" I asked her if she had fun at Renee's shower. Her response makes perfect sense for a 2 1/2-year old.
"Renee can't have a shower because there's no bathtub."

Laura has trouble with the term 'shower' as well. So I started using 'party', when I have a shower to go to, but that makes her want to go to one even more!
So one time I described a shower a bit, and she thought staying with Daddy was more fun!
