Night One Update
Sometimes we think that parenting Darcy is just too easy. She's a great eater, a great sleeper, she toilet trained really easily, all that sort of thing.
If last night is any indication, the adjustment to the big girl bed will be no exception.
She went to bed shortly before 8:00 last night and when I went into her room at 7:15 this morning she was just lying in bed waiting for me to come and get her. She looked so cute lying in that big bed. I made a pretty big deal out of it and she certainly seemed very proud of herself.
So, we'll see how it continues on. Sooner or later she's going to figure out that she can get herself out of bed, even with the rail on.
I dread that day...

I can't wait to hear about the day she figures out how to get out of the bed!
CJ has been in a "big boy bed" since this summer....he can climb in and out himself, but he amazingly enough stays in bed for like an hour and a half at night talking and singing before he goes to sleep. We've had a couple of occasions where he gets out but they have been really far and few between. Kai on the other hand will be a different story and I'm dreading the day we put him in a bed, he won't be staying in there for sure! Totally a different personality!
