Our Big Guy
Wesley is four months old already. I really can't believe it. The other day at the grocery store we ran into one of my favourite nurses from the hospital. You know you were in the hospital too long if you have several favourite nurses and if they remember you four months after your release. She was really excited to see Wesley's progress and to see what a little chubbo he's turning into.
I had him at the doctor this morning for his four month check up and shots. He weighs 13 pounds and is 25 inches long. They hope a baby will double his birth weight by six months, but he has clearly left that in the dust already. Good job. The doctor was pleased with him all around, but Wesley wasn't pleased with the doctor after the shots.
Now we've got to finish getting ready for our trip to Cambridge. The laundry is mostly done, now it's just a matter of getting it all packed up and ready to go. I hope we don't forget anyone's presents.
